Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology has announced the information of the key projects of the National Key R&D Program for the 14th Five-Year Plan. All the eight projects of the three major special projects that DHC participated in were successfully approved. This once again confirms the company's strong strength in big data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, federal learning, cloud computing, and multimodality.
In this year's National Key Research and Development Program, DHC participated in 11 sub-topics, involving 4 major categories of rare diseases, tumors, infectious diseases, and common multiple diseases, which are major diseases and common diseases that seriously endanger national health in the national disease spectrum diseases.
The National Key R&D Program is the highest level R&D program in China, which is the integration of 13 special programs such as the National Key Basic Research and Development Program (973 Program), the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program), and the National Science and Technology Support Program. The National Key R&D Program provides continuous support and leadership for major social issues of national importance and livelihood, as well as strategic and prospective major scientific issues of industrial core competitiveness, overall independent innovation capability and national security.

01 Establishment of a Multimodal Adjunctive Treatment Platform for Rare Diseases and Clinical Translation Application
The project aims to break through the bottleneck of rare diseases, which is dificult to diagnose, difficult to treat and poor homogeneity. It will form a full-cycle management, research and application translation system of rare disease screening clinical diagnosis and treatment, genetic analysis and follow-up. The project will develop a clinical phenotype and regional distribution map of the first batch of important diseases in the Chinese rare disease catalog, and intend to build an international leading cross-scale multimodal rare disease medical data center.
02 Research on the Etiology and Prevention of Important Tumors and Hematologic Diseases in Children
The project will build a national data platform for diagnosis, treatment and prevention and a precise diagnosis and treatment system, develop new targets and new treatment protocols, and improve the national diagnosis, treatment and prevention sharing network and the construction of an international level sample resource base.
03 Key Technologies for Surveillance, Early Warning and Treatment of Emerging Major Infectious Diseases in Children
The project will establish a nationwide surveillance system for respiratory and intestinal pathogens in children and a standardized clinical pathogen resource base by realizing the five-in-one management of early identification, rapid early warning, accurate diagnosis, dynamic monitoring and effective prevention and treatment.
04 Establishment of Early Screening and Precise Diagnosis and Treatment System for Endometrial Cancer and Development of Key Technologies
The project will establish an early and accurate screening system and molecular typing diagnostic criteria for endometrial cancer that are suitable for the Chinese population and clinically accessible. It is the first in the world to interpret the risk of metastasis and recurrence of endometrial cancer based on molecular characteristics in multiple dimensions such as disease characteristics, molecular characteristics,mechanistic characteristics, immune characteristics, and metabolic characteristics. The project constructs a risk stratification and precise assessment system that can be used to guide clinical treatment strategies and improve the overall level of endometrial cancer prevention and treatment in China.

05 Full-course Intelligent Management of Seriously Ill Patients with Major Infectious Diseases
For serious infectious diseases such as viral hepatitis, AIDs, tuberculosis and new outbreak infectious diseases, the project aims to build a wholecourse intelligent management platform that is accessible at the grassroots level and covers four key nodes: screening, early warning, intervention and follow-up.It is a pioneer in building an early warning and accurate prediction system that can identify patients at high risk of severe disease and death at an early stage.
06 R&D and Demonstration Application of Multi point Trigger Early Warning System and Key Technologies for Emerging and Emergent
The project integrates basic, clinical, public health, disease control, artificial intelligence, and information teams, aiming to build a scalable, replicable, debuggable, landable, and cost-controllable all-round integrated infectious disease prevention and control sample system to provide strong support for the national prevention and control of emerging and emergent infectious diseases.
Research on the prevention and treatment of common polyvalent diseases
07 Establishment of a New System of Multi- cancer Screening and Early Diagnosis and a New Strategy for Nationwide Application
The project will establish a new model of combined screening and early diagnosis of malignant tumors, covering the whole cycle of screening for six major types of cancer, which is suitable for nationwide application. This approach is different from the traditional screening for single tumor and single link,contributing to the improvement of joint early diagnosis of common malignant tumors in China.
08 Research on Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment Model Ofinsomnia Disorders and Its Efficacy Evaluation
The project will build a system for early screening, accurate assessment, prognosis judgment and efficacy prediction of insomnia disorders, which is of strategic importance to national health and social development.
